OUR OBJECTIVES
To map and identify existing Indigenous Knowledges in Africa
To identify knowledges among marginalized groups
To recover knowledges that may be going into extinction
To document identified knowledges
To identify gatekeepers of knowledge
To co-create knowledge on research methodology among indigenous groups
To compare Indigenous knowledge in Africa with other Indigenous communities in the world
To identify and build capacity of Indigenous youth to conduct research on indigenous knowledge
To foster cross-cultural learning among Indigenous groups in Africa and beyond
To integrate Indigenous knowledge to improved livelihoods of Indigenous youths
To foster linkages between African indigenous knowledge systems with technology and knowledges from elsewhere
